In February 2009, AMA Laboratories (www.amalabs.com) in New City, New York conducted an independent investigation into Cilea’s effectiveness at increasing eyelash density.

Methodology
The tests were conducted over a 4 week period. Participants were required to use the product as part of their normal daily routine, as specified in the instructions for use. Results were documented using image analysis software to quantify changes in eyelash density, as well as self-assessments from the test subjects via a daily log and questionnaire responses.

Conclusions
AMA Laboratories concluded that the product demonstrated an average increase of 54.81% in eyelash density, with a maximum increase of 82.01% observed over 4 weeks of use. These results are considered statistically significant by the lab. In addition, the subjects perceived the product to be an effective eyelash density enhancer and their questionnaire responses were corroborated by instrumental data and photographic findings.
